Agreement and eligibility

These Terms govern your use of CART918, including its website, Android app, Grocery Companion, account features, and shared links. By creating an account or using CART918, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use CART918 for an organization, you represent that you may agree on its behalf.

Your account

Provide accurate account information, protect your password and devices, and notify CART918 promptly if you believe your account is being misused. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by law. CART918 may suspend or restrict access reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users or the service, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

Recipe accuracy and food safety

CART918 is an organizational tool, not a medical, nutritional, allergy, or food-safety service. Search results, imported nutrition information, user-entered recipes, and photo or PDF transcription may be incomplete or incorrect. Always compare imported text with the original and verify ingredients, quantities, allergens, cooking temperatures, storage requirements, and instructions before preparing or serving food.

Shopping and checkout

The Grocery Companion helps find an approved ingredient. It does not select the final product, add every item automatically, approve substitutions, choose a pickup or delivery time, enter payment, or place an order. Confirm the product, size, quantity, price, taxes, fees, substitutions, delivery details, and final total on the grocery store’s official website.

Enter store passwords and payment information only on the store’s official website. CART918 will never ask for them.

Store availability

Store websites and search systems can change without notice. CART918 cannot guarantee that a product will be available, that a search result will match the ingredient, or that every Companion feature will continue working on every store website.

Local partner stores and commissions

Some local stores may participate in a CART918 referral program. These stores are clearly labeled as local partners. CART918 may earn the disclosed percentage or other agreed compensation from eligible net purchases reported by a participating store. This does not change the shopper’s responsibility to review prices, products, fees, substitutions, checkout, and the store’s own terms.

Order attribution depends on a unique referral click ID and the accuracy of the retailer’s report. Returns, refunds, cancellations, taxes, fees, alcohol, gift cards, or other excluded products may reduce the eligible net total under the specific retailer agreement. Stores listed in the regular grocery-store selector are provided as free shopping destinations unless they are separately identified as a local partner.

Ownership, your content, and copyright

CART918 and its original software, branding, design, and service materials are owned by Joshua Gaynor or the applicable licensors and are protected by law. Subject to these Terms, you receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use CART918 for its intended purpose.

You retain ownership of content you create. You give CART918 a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display content only as needed to operate, synchronize, back up, troubleshoot, and provide features you request, including sharing when you create a share link. Only upload, copy, print, or share recipes, photographs, and documents that you created or have permission to use. Keep the original source link when importing someone else’s public recipe. Anyone with a shared link can forward its text and approved photos, so do not include private information.

Analytics and optional updates

Anonymous feature analytics are optional and begin only after the visitor allows them. The CART918 updates form is also optional, does not create an account, and requires an unchecked permission box to be selected before signup. Enter an email address you control and use the updates-management form if you no longer want messages. CART918 is not intended for children under 13.

Acceptable use

Do not use CART918 to upload malicious content, attack other websites, bypass access controls, overload the service, impersonate another person, or violate a store’s terms or applicable law. CART918 may limit requests that appear automated or abusive.

Changes and termination

CART918 may improve, replace, limit, or discontinue features and may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, when appropriate, an additional notice. You may stop using CART918 and delete your account at any time. CART918 may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these Terms, create security risks, misuse third-party services, or must be restricted by law.

Subscriptions and trials

CART918 does not currently charge through the app unless a price and purchase flow are clearly presented. Before any paid subscription begins, CART918 will display the price, billing period, included features, trial terms if any, renewal method, and cancellation instructions. App-store purchases are also governed by the store’s billing and refund rules. No charge will be created merely by having an existing CART918 account.

Third-party services

CART918 is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any listed grocery store or recipe provider. Third-party websites control their own accounts, prices, products, checkout, security, availability, and policies.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CART918 is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. Keep important original recipes somewhere safe and review all information before relying on it. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so those exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CART918 and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, purchases, or opportunities arising from use of the service. CART918’s total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid CART918 for the service during the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

Responsibility for misuse

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims and reasonable costs resulting from your unlawful use of CART918, content you submit without necessary rights, or a material violation of these Terms. This does not require you to cover claims caused by CART918’s own unlawful conduct.

Oklahoma law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Tulsa County, Oklahoma. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
